I still believe this methodology could be used to absolve Stick, whatever type distribution is normal for backgammon errors. Do you think it is easy to play 2.0 and have a normal distribution if your real PR is much higher? If he chose every play the bot liked, he would play much less than 2.0, I believe. Therefore, if he cheated, he would have been selective, by either the size of the error or by not checking the bot every play, which could produce a normal distribution if it was randomly done. But, he is much more likely to check the bot on tough plays or cube actions, where larger errors could be made, or to check the bot on every play and only change his larger errors, either of which would create an abnormal distribution.
