Phil,

Thanks very much for your kind words. As Jason points out, we are members of the Washington Beltway BG Club. While there are many excellent clubs around the country, we appreciate recognition from you, Joe Russell and others on this website of the Club's results in the USBGF online club championship and at the Pittsburgh tournament.

It was great to see one of the best DC-are players, Kent Goulding, at the Pittsburgh tournament. We hope KG will be able to play more often.

One of the reasons why the Washington Beltway club may have had a low profile is that we haven't had many ABT events in the Washington area. Fortunately, that is about to change. Ed O'Laughlin, the DC-area's highest ranked Giant, and the ABT's newest Tournament Director, is running a new ABT event from February 15-17. Ed will be assisted by Barry Silliman, a great player in his own right. Hope you will be able to play in the Washington Beltway event.
