Remember that clock advocates want the Open or Masters flight played with clocks, otherwise...

So who is favored by the presence of clocks?

Maybe, the better player?

But in reality, everyone.

The tournament director and everyone attending because a properly organized event with clocks will always finish on time.

No late, late night matches.

No players sitting around for hours waiting for their next opponent, delaying the progress of a round.

I think clocks should be used for Open players, but not for Intermediate or Beginner flights unless a player is playing very slow. Those players, however, could use clocks if they want to get accustomed to them for when they move up to the Open Division.
