Although I understand your post came with a level of sarcasm, I will say - I'm not trying to create an analysis tool for the social players but a player they can play against. I wouldn't actually give them a rating of how they did. A simple Congratulations on a win or good try on a loss would suffice. However a tutor mode that may suggest a better play wouldn't be out of the question

IMHO the number of casual players looking for a reasonable opponent to play Backgammon against are dwarfed by the number of experts that want a full blown copy of GNUBG, XG, or BGBlitz2Go on a smartphone.

I have one criticism of the Free Mobile version of XG, it seems that after the last update the number of ads that appear during the game are excessive and I could see this being a serious turn off, especially since there are other free Backgammon Apps that are sufficient for most casual users. At $10 I have a suspicion most people who think the ads are bad will not buy the premium version and will opt for a free version of someone else's app.
