A clarification of SHG events in 2009

I didn't intend for any of this thread to become a history of the SHG dice issues, I wanted to clarify something for people. I mentioned Neil Robins, Will Womack along with myself but didn't exactly explain how these people ere involved with the SHG dice problem in 2009

Neil Robins initially indicated an issue that he observed with XG dice analysis tool:

Will and I worked tirelessly (with a fair amount of abuse heaped on us) to collect dice. When all was said and done we had collected about 3 million dice rolls with the proper(new) dice generator, and ~500,000 rolls of the improper dice. It was no small task for both of us to collect those matches.

I spent time dealing with SHG directly, and Will took it upon himself to blog about the entire incident. His blog still exists, and some of the comments from those social players can be found at the bottom:
