Las Vegas Calcutta Coup

Thanks. I'm used to seeing Calcutta teams with fewer players. Most ABT events have four players as the most per team, with several one or two player teams ("seeds").

81 players in LV, so if all five player teams then ~16 teams here. But from the $ figures I'm guessing there were about 20-24 teams. That's still fewer than I'm used to seeing. Also, the winning team went for close to the max as you point out, which (of course) lowers the payout odds.

As your numbers show, this team received more than half (52.5%) of the entire Calcutta pool! When you look at it that way, it does appear to be a great team, in retrospect. Of course we all know from the BGO-OLM how lucky Stick is.
