Hello,

They will be the same in Money if you have turned off Jacoby. With Jacoby on, a cubeless money game is equivalent to a DMP, but the DT line will count gammon. In other word if you want to focus on Cubeless data, just make sure to turn off Jacoby

The difference between setting the position as cubeless and doing a cubeless RO is 2 folds:

  • the final equity in the latter case will be transformed using the Janowksi formula. The Winning chances will be the same (again if Jacoby is off)
  • in the Cubeless RO, the checkers decisions will be made as if the cube could be turned

So if you are interested in Cubeless Backgammon, the best is to set the position (or session) as cubeless and do the rollout (the RO “Cubeless” setting will not matter).

Last note: for Cubeless match, the MET is not adapted. I made one long time ago assuming standard Gammon rate. I’ve attached it to that email.

    I hope this help
