Vegas Cube Action

I pass this. Reasoning:

Although White has some bad rolls (eight 6-x's blot; 5-1 stacks), Blue is in gammon danger, AND Blue has timing problems. Even when Blue hits he must jump a broken prime with limited time to do that. In fact this doesn't look close to a take.

So maybe the question is: too good? That's a serious possibility, IMO, and now I'm thinking that is why Stick posted the problem in the first place. As I said above, even when it goes blot+hit Blue isn't home free (although White no longer has an immediate cube -- could turn back into one shortly, though).

Was this a situation where White was playing for the G, Blue splits, then White gets cold feet?

Finally, (I'm assuming 'Hugh' is 'Sconyers'), Stick still isn't a well-known commodity and this looks like the first game of the match. Maybe Sconyers thought Stick would take.... BIG MISTAKE.

Take a roll (play-on).
