In addition, what is true for you is also true for your opponent. So whether or not it's easier to play with a low PR when the cube is out of play, it doesn't seem like it would be any easier to win the game.

There is a bit of asymmetry post-Crawford in that the trailer doesn't have to worry about losing a gammon and the leader doesn't have to worry about winning a gammon, but I'm not sure which way that cuts.
