I think the added mystery of not seeing your opponent makes it necessary to limit time between moves. Really, you don't even know who you are playing.(or if you are playing more than one person in concert) There is more than one way to cheat. I don't know how anyone plays for money online. I guess I'm not very trusting of the human species...
