That is an interesting position. Before reading Roberties "Modern Backgammon", connectivity was not an issue for me. I remember also some posts of Nack Ballard, where he dinged the move in an early stage of the game that leaves only three men on the midpoint. So the four candidates are reflecting for me archetypes of backgammon players.

24/13. That is what the levanter would play. Nothing wrong with it but creating a stack. Stacks are silent killers.

13/7 13/8. That would have been the choice of the contenders in the heydays of backgammon. Full speed ahead, priming or blitzing. But against the straggler the slot may be double-edged.

13/7 6/1*. The choice of crazy fred. He likes to overplay the position, what is likely, with the attempt to blitz with 9 men in the zone.

24/18 13/8. The choice of screwed sherlock, who has spend some time with bot study. This move connects the position. It forces contact with a better board, trying to nullifiy the advantage of one man behind. It brings a spare to the eight point, and leaves 4 men on the midpoint, enuogh material to slot and hit in the future.
