Sorry to hear about the problem. If you do not mind before starting any of the following, would you mind to make a screen copy? it could help me figure what happened. To make screen copy, press the home button and the power button at the same time. The screen will flash white a bit and the screen copy will be saved in your photos.
Here what i think you can try:
Power down your iPad. Go to the options and change the match length. Press "done" when it asks you if you want to start a new game. Answer yes. if it still does not help, the only solution I can think is to uninstall XG mobile (press and hold XG icon, a little X will display next to the icon, press it to delete the app. Then reinstall it from the app store. If you have pruchase XG Mobile, click on the "upgrade to Premium" and press "Restore purchase". You will not be harge again). Regards
