In Response To: Peoria Clock Discussion (Matt Cohn-Geier)

I actually want to point out one very positive thing about this situation: usage of clocks made matches like that possible. Matches that give people real excitement, when you can hear the buzz around the board, that create sense of serious competition (that in my opinion in big part was missing from bg in pre clocks era). If clocks would be mandatory and time limits would become more aggresive - who knows, maybe we'll see backgammon tournament on TV one day.
