The current system is fine just as it is as almost no one times out. Did anyone actually time out in Peoria?

The way to avoid time trouble is not to take too long considering one's decisions early in the match. When I've spent lots of time early in the match, I have to step up my pace of play midmatch. This probably raises my PR somewhat, but so what, champ level BG is supposed to be a game of skill and some of that skill should be the ability to process the relevent issues and make one's play reasonably quickly.

As for cocked dice, I can cock the dice twice and still make most of my plays without using any reserve time.
