I'm actually brand new here, so I can only comment on past experiences really but I would have to say that any activity is good activity. I've been on some forum sites where people are seriously inactive, and I've also been on those that feature plenty of off-topic posts and the moderators don't seem to mind. Over time I guess everything sort of gets its own flavor.

Regardless, I do hope that I'm allowed to comment on other's thoughts in a post string here considering that this post could be construed that way.
