1. "Have you switched blue and white and also are only seeing a single back checker instead of two"?

An oversight on the switch; the 2 checkers refer to "In this example" meaning in this example!

"When you calculate 18/7 or 2.57 rolls is the wastage not important and is the fact that the average roll is 8 1/6 instead of 7 important"?

Probably!

2. "her Gammons Per Pip ratio"

Have you defined what this means in another post?

No.

3. "A further 10th can be added for 11 22."

Is getting 22 or 11 twice here better than 65 twice? For some reason you are adding a tenth becausee of 11 22. Do you mean add a tenth of a percent or a tenth of all the games or a tenth of the result obtained so far? Since you are sometimes using percentages but not saying it is a percentage it is difficult to tell.

a). I was concerned with only doubles. Better than 65? Better in what way? If your referring to quantity, then yes. If quality then maybe or maybe not! But I didn't think so at the time.

b). Tenth of a percent

4. "1.3 * 18 - 19.5% (Stick's estimate) = 18.9%"

"Is it 1.3 X 18 - 19.5 or is it 1.3 multiplied by a value which ranges from 18 to 19.5 or something else entirely? Whatever it is how does it calculate to be 18.9%"?

1.3 * 18 (17 pips to bear in and 1 pip to bear off) = 23.4 of which, subtract 19.5% or 23.4-4.5 = 18.9%.

5. 5)"In this example, blue's GPPR would need to be 1.53 * 35 = 53.55 Gammons. This ratio would need to be between 5/36 * 4/36"

"You are using "would need to be" in both sentences, but then giving two different values. Is the first one actually the calculation of what it is and not what it would need to be? Where did all of those values come from or what meaning do they have (1.53, 35, 5/36, 4/36)"

a). The values are the same just worded differently.

b). 1.53 is the product of 5/36 & 4/36 or 13.8 * 11.1 = 1.53. The 35 is the number of pips for the 2 checkers on the deuce to bear in to the 6pt and 1 pip to bear off.

b). Do you mean between 5/36 and 4/36? 53.55 is pretty far away from 5/36 and 4/36. Is it 53.55 out of something maybe?

a). I have no idea what what trying to say here.

Estimating Gammons in these sorts of positions is very complex and I'm pretty sure there are various ways to tackle the problem; ome with brute force while others reflecting a more creative aptitude.

I'm prepared to back my nonsense if your interested and can offer me a fair error for each problem. A 100 problems is not too unreasonable.
