the hit is a definite, i prefer to switch points to hit rather than leave a direct shot at the edge of blues prime, blue will be 23 pips ahead in the race after his play, so why not help the racing wins by making it easier to come home in case the attack fails...i think 18-15(2) does this as well as making it harder for whites blot to safety
