I would play 18/15(2) 5/2*(2) taking advantage of the opportunity to advance the troublesome 18pt.

I have to admit that I didn't even see 11/2* but even now that I see it I think that 5/2*(2) 18/15(2) accomplishes more. In addition to helping us get off the 18pt, it leaves fewer shots. It does give up our prime but I think we're more interested in attacking White's blot than in priming it.
