Backgammon Server - Ratings or Not

If I'm going to dedicate 20 minutes of my life to a match, I want to know 1) the player isn't going to drop when he gets behind and 2) that the player will offer enough competition to make the match interesting. I also like to track my progress (or lack thereof) with a rating.

Game over, this is the only right answer. Everybody go home, the store is closed.
