How many EPC adjustments do you really need?

I would not look at the EPC here. I'd just note that the only difference between the two positions is that the 2 from the 4 are moved to the 1. 6 pips difference, but I'd count a difference of 3 only (there is an EPC-like element here). So you get a short race with a 10% difference in the pipcount and a double and take.

That would be my quick and simple answer.
