Speed Gammon Time Settings

The DBgF "standard" is the same as Chiva uses: 5 point matches, 10 seconds delay, 2 minutes match time.

However our rules does not impose any restrictions for speed or blitz events, other than:

1) Gaming legislation dictates that matches must be to 5 points minimum (or similar, best of x DMPs, etc.).

2) In order for a speed match to be officially rated by DBgF, time restrictions must be minimum 10 seconds delay, and minimum 20 seconds match time per match point. (eg. 0:10 + 1:40 for a 5 pointer). If the time controls are more strict than that, the match will not be rated.

All matches rated with a time control below 0:12 + 2:00/point will be categorized as type "S" in the rating system (allowing for calculation of specific speed ratings, at a later point in time).
