If the positions are very much like the ones where you usually lose equity, then yes, I would recommend putting a high priority on studying those positions.

Maybe I should be a little clearer. I'm sure that you'll learn something from studying the third-roll positions. Though I don't own Opening Ceremony, I'm sure that the positions are presented in a convenient format, making it easy to study them. These are all good reasons for studying those positions. The trouble I see is that you'll end up spending a disproportionate amount of time on a limited part of the game. There are only so many kinds of positions that can arise on the third roll of the game. To become a 5.0 player you need to be competent in all areas of the game; becoming the world's foremost connoisseur on the third roll at the expense of a broader education is not what I'd recommend if that's your goal.
