Maybe there's a play that gets the most out of the cube this isn't the one I'm seeing.... 25/24*, 2/1, 8/6 puts checkers in good places and hopefully would be my OtB play. (I wouldn't expect to find a magical, QF play OtB even if one existed.) But still I would consider it an error if I hadn't considered, however briefly, the QF candidate.
