I didn't reply originally to avoid thread killing, whether it exists or not, I still worry about it. 2/1(2) immediately jumped on my radar because it's just so bad to get hit. This is like a recent thread on rgb where one needs to realize how much getting hit hurts. If you feel that pain, the safe plays will jump out at you.

You may have been thinking to yourself "Well, my opponent has two inner board blots so if I'm hit it's not really that bad." Make sure to check out how all his hitting rolls play, the vast majority hit and clean up rather nicely on the offensive side of the board.
