Since White is anchored, you can't "roll" the prime. What you'd like to do is to "trap" White by forcing her to break anchor so that you can attack her. I'd play 7/6 7/2. This does give White 44 to break free, but at some point you have to give her big doublets. The point is that if she rolls a 4 but not 44 then she has to run off her anchor, and then you have plenty of checkers ready to pounce.

It's sometimes difficult to judge when the right moment to trap is, but here I think most indicators point towards trapping now. Breaking the bar point is often the best way to trap, and here 51 lets you do so while making a new point and creating a usefully placed spare on the 6pt. If White's board were intact then you might want to hold the prime to get her to crunch, but it's already pretty crunched. The crunched board also means that White is ahead in the race so you can't just rely on "rolling" your prime and winning the race.
