I would try bar/23 5/3 (3). For sure I want to attack because white has too many good numbers to attack, escape or prime. I do not believe that the 5 point is as valuable as usual here, since blue has a big racing deficit and a big task to perform if he wants to escape his back checkers while containing the white loner. Therefore as the 5 point is part of a not highly successful plan, its value drops. Maybe it does not drop dramatically, but I believe it drops enough to compensate for the unecessary risk and gammons that come from leaving a blot against the best 4 pt board and a broken six prime with 2 men already behind it.
