Wish list for GNUbg in 2013

There are a bunch of things I would like to see, but since I can’t remember them all right now, here are three:
  1. Implement proper File Save logic.
    1. The only time the user should be asked whether to save is when the file/match/game has been modified since the previous save.
    2. The only time the user should be asked whether it is OK to overwrite an existing file is when the user selects File, Save as. Choosing File, Save should never invoke this question.
  2. Create an output command for Temperature Maps. I have often wished I could include a comparitive Temperature Map in a BgOnline post.
  3. Implement a threaded analysis queue and cache, ala XG, so that analysis can take place in the background. Rollouts and evals made during help requests should be cached so that they do not have to be repeated when a match is analyzed later.
