A big alternative? ah_clem gave three alternatives: paying now with 13/10 13/8, playing off the 8, and playing off the 6. I don't see another big alternative.

I would have paid now. 13 shots is borderline in light of White's board, but it looks to me that things rate to get worse for us the longer we wait. I suppose we can hope that White rolls small so that she either has to leave us a direct shot or rip up her board but most likely she'll run her spare and we'll be squeezed even harder next turn.
