Pipcount doesn't tell the entire story, but enough to know Blue's got decent win equity from the race. If s/he can anchor high, those chances are enhanced. I start with 8/4*. Then I can cover the 8- and 3-points (leaving a blot on the 4-point and a five block from 5-9) or just cover the 4-point (leaving a blot on the 3-point and and a 'hole' on the 8-point. Blue's board isn't great but certainly still contains some teeth. Nevertheless I'm going to wrap up the 4-point and hope to make the 3-point next.
