Word must be out that you have weakness defending backgames. :)

I'm not really concerned with opp making my barpoint because 18-pt + any anchor don't play well together. (I would rather have it myself, though.) 2(2) doesn't feel right because of its inefficiency (no 3-point and already owned 8-point). The 2-pt slot can be right once a decent prime is in place and you're trying to kill opp's timing, but that opportunity isn't in place yet.

I could certainly regret my play if I get two blots sent back and then have trouble playing them out, but I like outfield blocking/landing points and I can make two new ones this turn.
