I temporarily have no access to XG, so here is a GNU 4-ply analysis. Not sure how much to trust the pseudocubeless numbers, but if we take them at face value, hanging back in this variant position does lose some extra gammons, but not nearly as many extra gammons as when Blue has a blot on his 5pt.
