For simplicity, yes. The point is that the lack of errors while the opponent is on the bar aren't really as important as they are generally made out to be. I'm perfectly happy if the dice, rather than his own lack of skill, are taking away his equity. If my opponent has options then I'd certainly like to confuse him with difficult options so that his game deteriorates, but it's even better if his game deteriorates automatically without the need for his cooperation.
