I'm not a big fan of the 3D perspective. I'm playing on a computer. I don't need it to look "real," which it never does anyway.

That said, I discovered early on with XG1 that I could take the 3D board and adjust it to give a top down view, basically a 2D look but with better resolution and graphics. I also like the look of the 2D board and I switch back and forth between the two for variety.
