I'm not so happy with my experience in "learning by filing".

I noted I occasionally failed to slot my own bar point early in the game and got myself a handful of positions where it was a clear blunder not to do so. But this is pointless w/o any further study. We know it's often wrong and slotting our bar point more in general rather than under some narrowly prescribed cicumstances is pointless. Your filed errors aren't useful per se but your follow up study may be so.
