Topic 1: Ever watch Jay Leno when he goes out on the street to ask simple questions? '48' would be a pretty intelligent answer for the idiots he queries. They think the American Revolution was fought in the 1920's. They think Iran is a neighbor of Nebraska. I'm not making this up and I honestly don't think they are either!

Topic 2: I don't get Steve's joke. Monolingual? Unilingual? Yeh, if you put a 'c' on this second form, but who does that?? Someone please clue me in on what I'm missing.
