White is Player 2
score: 2
pip: 1077 point match pip: 98
score: 5
Blue is Player 1XGID=-aBBBBBb-B---BA---abbc-bb-:1:1:1:52:5:2:0:7:10 Blue to play 52 How come you never roll like this when you are playing against me?
Sixes are a key for White. If he rolls one next time, he gains the timing needed to hold the fort. If he does not, he may be forced to crack or break his anchor. I am not at all sure, but since 6 is good for him anyway, I’d trying duping it. 13/7 is bold, but when it works, you are on the road to victory.
Since gammons are a problem, an alternative might be to safety your outside blot, and break the 6pt. Otherwise, you might try playing both numbers off the 6pt. Either way, you would leave only one blot, but would not have addressed the issue of how to get off the midpoint.
