I calculate that our takepoint is $-ish here.
From Cube Reference Positions I recall that race deficits of 20 pips in 20-point holding games are worse than 10 pips or 30 pips. We have less racing chances (obviously) than with a 10 pip deficit and not sufficient timing to hold our board and our anchor (as we could do with a 30 pip deficit). Without flaws the classic 20 pip deficit is still a take, but close. Let's look at the flaws:
Our board could be better. Minus for this position compared to 'classic'.
Opp needs to clear the 12-point which is easier than clearing the 13-point. Another minus for our side here.
Opp's ugly board hampers his bearoff. Plus for us compared to 'classic'.
I don't think opp's bearoff flaws are enough to offset the *relative) ease of bearin, and our open 5-point adds the last nail in our coffin. Looks like a pass to me.
