Leaving the last checker on the 18 point with 63 gives great sixes to hit with only sevens to hit back from the bar. The reverse split 24-21, 13-7 should be better. The back checker is only exposed to a few point on head numbers. The slotted bar is strong if missed and should generate many return shots when hit.
