Very interesting. I had never heard of Stu Unger until your post last night. I went and watched a couple documentaries about him on Youtube. You have to be impressed.. I think it is clear he could well have been the greatest game player of all time. I was/am really good at Gin Rummy as well for reasons I never really understood. I could beat almost anyone I played against including the person who taught me how to play. He had over 40 years of Gin Rummy experience when I learned the game. I do not follow Poker really as well as maybe I should and had only heard his name mentioned a few times and never really thought anything more about it. Very surprising that he was so incredibly good at these different games despite killing himself with drugs at the same time. I am not sure if the cocaine was a performance enhancer or performance destroyer in his case. Thanks again for the post.
