I do not play many DMP games, so this is quite unexpected and interesting for me. I would have triedthanking the 4 pt OTB.

13/7 6/4 looks like blue wants to get hit desperately in order to try a backgame. I could think of making such a play, if the pip count difference was already bigger. But maybe in DMP you can start these tricks, even with a smaller pip count. And maybe blue's chances are already slim and making the 4 pt is a very slow approach to contain the last white checker. So the combination of all these might explain why 13/7 6/4 is best. I am just guessing, and would like to hear more comments.

Also a very interesting question is why 23/21 13/7 is second best.
