Plan A: Get him out of your board, let him close you out, then run back into the race once he opens up. Plan B: If he hits another checker, get anchored somewhere, anywhere, and hope if he tries a trap play, that it doesn't work.

If we assume the opponent will keep his prime and keep recirculating, assuming he is able to do so, until he hits another checker, if there is one to hit...then I'd front the risk now with 5/4(2) 2/1*(2). If he hits with a 5 right now, at least Plan B of anchoring is more likely to work now than later. If he doesn't hit, my remaining board should be reasonably easy to crash down to the ace and deuce points, leaving him nothing to recirculate to hit when he gets that 6 to move the prime forward.

I don't know if this play is right, but at least I have a "Game Plan"!
