I think the London Open (http://londonopenbg.weebly.com/) shows this is probably true. The main event is almost free, and they have various sideevents (professional tournamnet which is basically a 64 man jackpot, lots of other jackpots and sideevents) and both the free main tournaments and the professional tournament (entry fee 250 pounds) were sold out in a couple of weeks.
