Stick was right

I have a real ethical dilemma in this situation. I know if I take 20 minutes to make every decision I will make better decisions, but I know that would be rude and eventually, the director would slap a clock on me--as he should. But where is the cutoff? 10 minutes? 5 minutes per move? How a out fast most of the time and 10 minutes for a tough cube decision? There is NO proper number that is "fair" to my opponents and the tournament and to my own ability to be sure of the right play.

So, out of courtesy to my opponents, I will explain my problem and warn them all that without a clock I will be playing very, very slowly, and I will give them the option of using a clock. I will also go a step further and agree that if they choose not to use a clock but change their mind, it's fine with me.
