Your results sound reasonable, although to address Bob's original question it might also be worth citing the probability that player 1 (or player 64) wins the tournament.

I'm a little puzzled by this comment. The triple-elimination format goes until a winner is declared, isn't it? Not a fixed number of rounds.

This raises the question of how to make a "fair" comparison between the two formats, since a Swiss tournament does go for a fixed number of rounds.
