Is it unethical to intentionally leave blots around in a backgame in the hope that your opponent will mistakenly hit them and improve your timing?

Is it unethical to cube a position you know is too good when you think your opponent will take it?

is it unethical to drop a cube that would be a take against a better player?

Is it unethical to bluff in poker? Or to slow play a strong hand?

Is it unethical to play the Evan's gambit in chess?

Is it unethical to fake a bunt in baseball, or fake a handoff in football?

Is the curveball or the change-up unethical?

My take is that some amount of deception is a normal part of many games. I don't play for money, but going easy on a fish in the hope that you will have a return customer doesn't trip my ethic-o-meter.
