How many pro BG players?

Do we think that Tiger Woods should feel awful about all of the millions he has taken from the pockets of lesser golfers?

Most of Woods's money comes from endorsements. Let's take one in particular (which I think he lost from his marital disloyalty): Buick. (I've almost exclusively owned GM cars, BTW.) Does the thought process go like this?

Tiger Woods is super talented. He's also a smart guy. He chose Buick. That must mean Buick is a better auto than its competition. I'm going to get a Buick, too!

Well, maybe. But reality is that this kind of advertising (and much of advertising) is just trickery. Can we be more specific and call it deception? Probably another "gray area". But the topic of a separate thread here has now come full circle. Pro athletes (and celebrities who endorse products which aren't in their fields of expertise) are hustlers. :)
