unilateral rolling choice

I guess your thinking is on the basis that use of the dice tube is unusual in the first place (so a sealed tube raises some degree of suspicion), whereas opaque dice are much more common?
If I was a dishonest player, I would be pleased that the use of opaque dice (perhaps through the taping of matches) was becoming more common, as it would raise less suspicion when I introduced my slightly weighted opaque dice. Even if we share a pair of dice (with or without a clock) I will have an advantage. And the best baffle box in the world can do nothing.
FWIW my feeling is that anything that makes the game less transparent, whether a sealed dice tube, opaque dice, headphones, inadequate shaking or whatever is not really desirable. Yes, of course, there has to be some trust somewhere, or we would not play, but transparency seems like a good principle (in theory at least).
