Every play leaves a blot somewhere. As with last turn, the remaining back checker isn't helping much and its 6's (among others) are blocked. So 23/18 at least removes one annoyance. There are three 'reasonble' plays with the deuce. If we had another cover for the 4-point then 6/4 would be more attractive. 18/16 gives us less risky retaliation if hit, compared to the other options. That's my choice.
