I also believe that more shaking and following the proper dice roll procedures is more likely to assure randomness, but it also prevents several known methods of palming the die and laying an unrolled die on the table, which is quite possible and difficult to detect if the player is allowed to put his cup or hand on the table during the process of rolling. (I have seen it demonstrated and I have tried it myself and I can do it. --The best way to catch a cheater is to learn how to cheat.)

Ok if I ever have to play you, I now am sure to use a baffle box against you! You sure know how to market your baffle boxes! :-)
