One reason I didn't answer this problem until today, when you goosed us all to do so, is I think I've seen it before, and remember that the right answer was 6/1*(2), 20/15(2). I am going to vote for that play, whether I've seen it before or not, and whether that was the answer or not! I do like the play, because I like the 6s covering the 9 next roll if we don't use that checker to attack or build a high point, and I also like not trying to play a holding game when we aren't behind in the race any more.
